As a reminder, the sidewalk and street plows will be out in full force over the Winter months maintaining over 93 Km. of streets and 73 Km. of sidewalks. Snow storms create numerous problems and inconveniences, and as such, residents clearing their own driveways and walkways are requested to do so without depositing snow and ice onto the street or sidewalk area.

If at all possible, do not drive during a major storm. It is much safer to stay at home and wait until conditions improve.

Residents are requested to assist the snow plow and sidewalk plow operators by correctly placing solid waste material for collection in front of the eligible premises, in the boulevard area and/or in back of the sidewalk, well clear of the street, without obstructing the roadway or sidewalk areas. Also keep in mind of the Winter Parking Ban that takes place from December 15th to April 1st.
