Yard Sale for the Cure - Saturday, May 6th - 8 am-Noon at the Truro Fire Hall. 100 % of the proceeds will be donated to the local Atlantic Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.     To donate your unwanted, gently used items to our yard sale call us at 893-7500 or call your favorite RE/MAX Agent.

The Truro Sea Cadets will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast and Bake Sale Saturday, May 6th at John Calvin RC (169 Glenwood Drive from 8:30 am to 11am. Adult tickets are $6, children are $4 and are available at the door or from any of our Cadets prior to the event.    We are fundraising for a citizenship trip to Ottawa for 2018.

Book Lovers Rejoice! Preparations are well underway for the 2nd Annual Colchester Book Fair. Proceeds from this event will go to the Colchester East Hants VON and local groups and organizations supported by the Bible Hill Kinsmen. They are moving the two-day sale to the Truro Mall this year, and have a number of collection points throughout the area.

May 12, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

May 13, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Location:

Truro Mall, 245 Robie St., Truro

What they are collecting: Books, Puzzles, Games, DVD’s, CD’s, Vinyl, and Comic Books

They appreciate donations but are unable to accept: Technical Manuals, Encyclopedias, Textbooks, Magazines, VHS Tapes, or Reader’s Digest Condensed Editions
