Municipal Grant Application
Each year the Town accepts grant applications as per our Municipal Grant Policy. Applications must be submitted no later than January 31 for the next fiscal year budget. Applicants received after the deadline will not be considered.
Grant approval takes place when the Town approves its General Operating budget in April of each year.

Low Income Property Tax Exemption
Each year, the Council sets a general exemption rate in accordance with Section 69 of the Municipal Government Act.
This exemption applies to taxpayers in the Municipality whose household taxable income does not exceed the limits set by Council, as outlined below.
The table below shows the total household income limits, as well as the corresponding property tax exemption amounts:
