In alignment with the provincial Dismantling Racism and Hate Act (S.N.S. 2022, c. 3), the Town of Truro has completed a Regional Equity and Anti-Racism Strategy in collaboration with Waking the unConscious (WtC) and in partnership with the Village of Bible Hill, the Municipality of the County of Colchester, and the Town of Stewiacke.
The Strategy was presented to Truro’s Committee of the Whole on November 20, 2025, and approved by Town Council on December 1, 2025.
This Strategy will guide the Town’s ongoing work to promote equity, inclusion, and anti-racism throughout the community.
