Take notice that Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider and, if deemed appropriate, approve the following development agreement application:

• Development Agreement Application by 4378018 Nova Scotia Limited to permit a 218-unit residential development, consisting of 23 townhouse dwellings in four structures together with three, six-storey multi-unit buildings each containing 65 residential dwelling units on lands of 656 Young Street (PID Nos. 20173753 and 20220000).

This public hearing will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of the Town Hall, 695 Prince Street.

At the public hearing, Council will consider oral and written representations from any interested persons. If you wish to make a formal presentation, please submit a written request to the undersigned no later than November 12, 2026

Pursuant to Section 168(2) of the Municipal Government Act, notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on November 2, 2026, Town Council gave First Reading to the proposed Solid Waste By-law (B150-002) Amendments.

The Town of Truro is undertaking a comprehensive review of its by-laws and policies to ensure they remain relevant, current, and accurate. As part of this review, minor amendments have been made to the existing Solid Waste By-law (B150-002) to update and modernize its provisions.

Town Council intends to consider Second Reading and adoption of this bylaw at its meeting to be held on:
