In partnership with Province of Nova Scotia (Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage/ CCTH), YReach, Truro and Colchester Welcome Network, the Community Health Board, and other community partners; we are hosting a Senior and Newcomer Wellness Expo Week in Truro.

This is an inclusive initiative aimed at encouraging movement, wellness, and social connection among older adults aged 45+, and area newcomers. Every activity will include a "take-home" component to support ongoing, unstructured physical activity in daily life.

This event directly responds to frequent community requests for a modern version of Truro’s former "Senior Expos"—from both currently engaged and less-active older adults. The same request is often made by newcomers and newcomer-supporting organizations.
