Rates
The rates set out below are the rates approved by the Board for water and water services when payment is made within 30 days from the date rendered as shown on the bill.
When payment is made after 30 days from the date rendered as shown on the bill, the rates will include interest charges of 1.25% per month, or part thereof. Each bill shall show the amount payable within 30 days from the date rendered as shown on the bill.

Water Leak Adjustment
If you are a residential property owner and a Town of Truro Water Utility customer, you may be eligible to receive a one-time credit adjustment to your water utility account. If you have experienced an increase in your water utility bill due to an unforeseen water leak, please review the eligibility criteria below.
Eligibility
- You are a residential property owner in the Town of Truro
- You have not applied for and received a water leak adjustment in the past
- Your water bill has increased due to a water leak at your property
- You have repaired the water leak at your property
