Public Survey – Now Open
A public survey is now open and available to all residents and community members. The survey is an important way to share local knowledge, experiences, and concerns related to wildfire risk in and around Truro. Feedback from the survey will directly help inform the Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
As a thank-you for participating, there is a draw to win $100 Downtown Truro Dollars.
Once you open the survey, you will first see a screen where you can enter your name, email, phone number, and address (optional). If you do not wish to enter the draw or provide this information, you may also choose to skip this step and proceed directly to the questionnaire.
Public information sessions will also be held later in the process to increase awareness of wildfire risk, explain recommended mitigation actions and FireSmart practices, and show how community input has shaped the final plan.
