...Tales Tombstones Tell | Gravestones in the historic section of Truro Cemetery (Robie Street) share fascinating stories from the first grantees of Truro Township to the present day. This guided walking tour highlights notable individuals, historic events, unique headstone carvings, and cemetery curiosities.
Start & Parking: Please park in the Hub Shopping Centre parking lot, cross Marshland Drive at the lights, and enter the cemetery on foot via the Marshland entrance. There is no parking or vehicle access inside the cemetery.
Presented in honour of Truro’s 150th anniversary of incorporation by the Town of Truro, facilitated by the Colchester Historeum Museum & Archives.
Respect the Space: This is an active and historic cemetery. Please be mindful, respectful, and careful around all gravesites.

These are walking tours – participants must be able to walk and stand for the full duration.
No dogs permitted.
No washrooms available on the route.
Children 12+ welcome with parental supervision.
Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring water.
