Strategic Tourism Expansion Program (STEP)
In 2024, Colchester County and the Town of Truro, in partnership with Stewiacke and Millbrook First Nation, led the STEP process through Tourism Atlantic (ACOA) to develop a Regional Strategic Tourism Plan. Approved in early 2025, the plan addresses opportunities, challenges, and long-term initiatives for sustainable tourism growth.
