In March 2019, Truro lost Skyler Blackie, a community asset and an extremely passionate firefighter. To honour the late Skyler Blackie, an obstacle race was created in his memory, combining his love of fitness, Victoria Park, and Truro.
Fire Prevention Restrictions

Event Day: Saturday October 4th 2025
*Due to the current woods restrictions to prevent wildfires, we are proceeding with an alternate event plan at this time. In the event that the restrictions on activities in the woods are not lifted by September 20th, we will proceed with the alternate plan.
Registration
- Very Early Bird Pricing: until August 30th = $30.00 (closed)
- Early Bird Pricing: August 31st-September 6th = $40.00 (open now!)
- Regular Pricing: September 7th - October 3rd (at 3:00pm) = $45.00
- Race Day On-Site Registration: October 4th = $55.00 (No cash, card only)
