The Truro-Bible Hill Off-Leash Dog Park is located at 514 Marshland Drive. This park allows dog owners to permit their dogs to run and play freely. The dog park also includes a small dog area, a smaller fenced area within the boundaries of the larger park.
The dog park is open seven days a week.
For the safety of dogs, their owners, and the public, users are asked to please adhere to the following rules, which are also posted at the entrance to the park.
Please note that children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the park at any time, even with parental supervision.

The Stan “Chook” Maxwell Memorial Park is located at 264 Prince Street. The community of West Prince Street envisioned this park as a place of sanctuary, which encourages recreation and enjoyment of the outdoors. The park is an integral part of the neighbourhood and offers a basketball court, playground, community gardens, and more.
The Pleasant Street Playground is located at 449 Pleasant Street. This small playground provides a large open green space and a few playground features, such as swings and a slide. Parking is available off of Pleasant Street in front of the Town’s Water Tower.

Victoria Park is one of Truro's greatest assets - a natural woodland park of roughly 3,000 acres in the centre of our Town with an extensive trail system for all ages.
The majority of trails in Victoria Park are open for recreational use. We continue to ask the public to follow all trail signage, as we will close individual trails to remove fallen trees and repair infrastructure during the upcoming months/years.
Please be advised that some trails and stairs do not exist at this time.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
For more information on Victoria Park, including activities, features, rules and regulations, parking, hours of operation and more, visit Victoria Park.
If you have special physical needs and require the use of a hippocampe to access the park, please contact the Truro Parks, Recreation and Culture Department office at 902-893-6078 to check availability.
In 2014, the Town of Truro completed the first Master Plan for Victoria Park. The Master Plan focuses on a strategic, proactive and long-term approach to park management to help address challenges and opportunities.
